Summary: | 碩士 === 大同大學 === 電機工程學系(所) === 102 === The study is illustrate on the example of an isolated power system, Kinmen power system, consisting of diesel generators, wind turbine generators and PVs. The characteristic of renewable energy, intermittence, has potential impacts on power quality and system reliability, though it depends on the penetration of the existing renewable energy. The operator also worries about the issue and limit the wind output, especially when high penetration of wind power occurs in winter off-peak period. Installing energy storage facilities could be considered to smooth out the fluctuations and improve supply continuity. This study refers to IEC 61400-21 for power quality measurement and assessment of power quality characteristics of grid connected wind turbines, and uses the power analysis software, PSS/E, and its dynamics models for load flow analysis and transient stability analysis, which are based on the existing scheduling criteria, typical load patterns to inestigate contribution of renewable energy and energy storage to steady and dynamic responses. Therefore, provide some advice for power generation operation and control.
