Yet the price of DRAM is strongly influenced by cyclical cycles and other factors. For example, if an over-supply occurred, the price dropped sharply. On the other hand, if an over-demand happened, the price escalated several times. Therefore, to be success in this highly competitive business, it is important to grasp certain characteristics of the memory module industry, namely, high production yield, short lead time and flexible production. In this paper, Theory of Constraints Drum-Buffer-Rope (Drum-Buffer -Rope (Drum-Buffer-Rope; DBR) scheduling method and Advanced Planning and Scheduling System (APS) were used for the test schedule optimization process of the memory module.
