Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 中國音樂學系碩士班 === 102 === The concept of “Chang-An School” was raised in the early 1980’s by Ri Rong Lu, professor of Xi’an Conservatory of Music, and Shi Gen Li, expert on Xi’An drum music. “Chang-An School” forms its unique musical style by composing with Shan-xi’s folk music or local music drama to exhibit certain local nationality. There are some representative works for suona such as Nostalgia for the Central Plains, The Boiling Loess Land, Love for Homeland, Western Capital, Passion on Qin Dynasty…etc… Nostalgia for the Central Plains, composed by the representative composer of “Chang-An School”, Xin Liang combined Qinqiang(singing style of Shanxi regional opera), folkloric suona performing style, and Shanxi folk music, sounded vehemently. This thesis will analysis form, motif, and three performing editions of Nostalgia for the Central Plains, simultaneously study the historical development of “Chang-An School” to understand how “Chang-An School” use their compositional skill in souna’s piece, and further establish my own interpretation.
