| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 音像紀錄與影像維護研究所 === 102 === After involved in a car accident lawsuit, I started to ponder on the essence of justice and reason why it shows different appearances under various cultural context. At the same time, I got in touch with the Pilot Program of Restorative Justice carried out by Tainan District Prosecutors Office because of my work, so I combined my own experience with the stories of those litigant in the program and completed the documentary "A journey in search of justice".
The film begins from my lawsuit and describes the Pilot Program of Restorative Justice by Tainan District Prosecutors Office. After tracing two case in the program, I discovered that even they achieved seeming reconciliation, their relationship had never restored by this program.
By the experiences of government officials, staffs and litigant, also my observation and the comment of experts, This film try to investigate the gap between ideal and reality of Restorative Justice in Taiwan.
The accomplishment of this film and written report preserves all the doubt and self-reflection in this process. They also included my preliminary conclusions to this issue.
