When Interbreeding Field began, that emphasizes personal thinking and creation., but when we started to worked out of school or even overseas, we make a team to create and let people known that Interbreeding Field. The team have the same idea and ambition, and make works in different environments or issues to let people remember and touch their heart.
Interbreeding Field is a big family, we take care of each other, even graduated students. The Interbreeding Field’s which called “Matrix”, We study there and have passion of architecture manual practice. Everyone who in the Matrix was familiar with tools and understand the properties of the materials, bring out the creative spark. When we went out to do work and back to the Matrix, just like back to the nest, a reassuring shelter.
I try to think how to make this nest to be more like home. When I worked for some case which are about dieting space, kitchen and restaurant, that experiences let people feel the space about “home”. These spaces let people get together, communication and relax. Furthermore, separating from the work area, and changing mood of the place.
I create a living field near our Matrix so we can meet there, cooking and entertaining visitors. Therefore, I create an open kitchen and dining environment in nature, people come here to have a different cooking experience which is different from the past.
In the building process, I use expanded metal mesh to bent over, trying to withstand the weight of a structure. The expansion is generally used in fence mesh with different purposes. Expanded metal mesh as the pillars of the non-rigid structure cause some interesting characteristics. When an external force or wind shake that pillars, people feel that pillars are resilient character. This is not only the special structure which were never seen, but also the structure can support the large roof, moreover lightweight. Expanded metal mesh is a sustainable development and changing the material.
Theater space has some attractive characteristics. When it was linked to the architectural space, you can increase the richness of architectural space and the imagination, to get rid of the general idea of the building. Theater needs audiences and stage actors. Building space is also a very important emphasis on human behavior. People in the building space can play different role, because people have a sense of architectural space.
After the creation of the space, kitchen is not just the kitchen. So that Interbreeding Field partners feel more like "home", Interbreeding Field will open another milestone in our life.
