碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 102 === 　　Art is a part of our life and a feeling that we express ourselves. However, creation is to find the elements from our daily life to contain our memories. On my way, there had been a mixture between clarity and the fading memories in my mind. I was lost in my reality and past memories, and so eager to discover a way to record all the slips in between. “Relive My City Memory: Fiber Image Reproduction as a Method” is to discuss about my experience of travelling between school and hometown during my graduate school years. Through the physical movement in distance and the view from different points, I had tried to find the cityscape that I am familiar with. 　　The way we remember things is different from how the camera works. We extract from all the experiences first, store them, and then finally rebuild our own valuable experience. Through the camera, I captured sceneries in daily life and made them into image slices to retain the memory that my eyes cannot do. One step more, those image slices were made into a reproduction. A reborn lied between my memory and reality. 　　In our daily life, people use fiber; and this fiber is carrying people’s imprint of time. To me, fiber is also a carrier that loads images of memory and reflects every inch of my view of life. By reproducing them, I create my own unique way of cityscape.
