Although it’s common to have disaster prevention practice and class in school, the children (users) rarely involves the development process of it. The purpose of study is to let children find out what they need by storytelling method and develop the prevention system together in order to design a new system meeting needs of users by introducing ZMET (Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique) and Participatory Design. At first stage, students from two elementary schools of Taipei are involved, their expectations for disaster prevention system are revealed by ZMET. At second stage, Participatory Design is introduced, students are brought into process and propose their own concepts then validate them. The conclusion we come to includes five factors: 1.Shelter 2.Escape 3.Survive 4.Porteble 5.Information. These five are design guidelines for disaster prevention system or related. The system design based on the needs of user make children are willing to interact with it and learn knowledge about disaster prevention from the experience. When disaster strikes, students are able to self-secure calmly and independently, then system will provide the information to safe places for shelter. Hung-Hsiang Wang 王鴻祥 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW
