Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 土木與防災研究所 === 102 === Due to the natural and human factors, siltation of reservoirs in Taiwan faced serious problems. Not only relatively reduced life of the reservoir, but also essentially caused environmental problems. The present study thus focused on this subject, to explore the feasibility of reusing the reservoir sludge. Previous studies have made use of the geopolymer, known to have early strength, low energy consumption, less pollution and good durability, to cement reservoir sludge. At first, different proportions of sludge were added into the ordinary formula geopolymer to test their mechanical properties. In the mean time, fly ash was applied to replace the meta-kaolin in the geopolymer and did the same experiments. The results revealed that the strength as well as the expensive rate were both better than expected. The strength was ever higher than regular concrete. Finally, in order to investigate the practical usage of the formula, round solid cakes with diameter 20 cm and 4.5cm thickness specimen were made to test the property of fire resistance. A heating device was set up to heat the specimen as per the CNS12514 specification. The results shows that the back temperature of the specimen was lower than 100℃, satisfied the requirements of the fire code CNS11227, and also meet the Class A Fire door requirements.
