The multi-wall carbon nanotubes were modified then it was analyzed by FTIR. The multi-wall carbon nanotubes and clay with various ratios were added with ε-caprolactam during the process of PA 6.Such PA 6/ multi-wall carbon nanotubes/ clay composites were prepared by purification and vacuum drying procedure. The thermal behaviors, mechanical and functional properties were also investigated. ATR-FTIR analysis showed neither new group was made nor phenomenon of displacement was happened. The surface analysis was observed by SEM. The decomposition temperature and char yield of the PA6 composites were analyzed by TGA. The infrared thermal imager was used to measure the thermal conductive properties of composites. Through the results of limiting oxygen index,we found that the 1wt.% multi-wall carbon nanotubes/ 1wt.% clay composite had the optimal flame retardant property. 鄧道興 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 96 zh-TW
