The status of instruments development in Taiwan is not yet competing with else more advanced countries. Therefore, the import of instruments is critical to Taiwan’s industry. Due to the fact that the Taiwan’s market is somewhat small and the performances of domestic products cannot satisfy the requirements of domestic high tech industry. However, these products can still meet the requirements of certain applications that do not require extreme high accuracy. Thus, it is necessary to export the instruments to developing countries.. This research collects corresponding information related to Taiwan’s instruments industry, analyzes the internal strategies and external competing environment, and explores interactions between of manufacturers and distributors as well as their business models.
