Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 管理學院工業工程與管理EMBA專班 === 102 === The main scope of this research is to study the environment of the radio broadcasting industry in Taiwan as well as its competitiveness. Taiwan’s government has opened up the application for establishing radio channels since 1993. It ceased the monopoly of the broadcasting market and prompted the competition for the commercials in the media of broadcast. The evolution of television, internet and mobile telecommunication, the broadcasting industry also started to change the previous operation strategies in order to face the challenges.
In this case study, development stages was determined based on several external environmental criteria identified, via analysis methods of SWOT and Porter five forces. The competing strength of the enterprise in facing today’s rapidly challenging environment was also discussed.
