To ensure the sustainable development of Taiwan's education, by integrating educational resources, can make full use of educational resources, avoiding enlarging regional resource gap. The purpose of the study is to understand the integration of educational resources and school effectiveness in elementary schools of Taichung City; comparing differences between the integration of educational resources and school effectiveness in terms of various demographical backgrounds; exploring the relationship of the integration of educational resources and school effectiveness; analyzing the predictability of the integration of education resources to school effectiveness, as enhance school organizational effectiveness. This study first explores theoretical framework, then uses self-designed “the questionnaire of the integration of educational resources” and “the questionnaire of the school effectiveness” as tool. Formal questionnaire aimed at elementary schools teachers of Taichung City as target population and randomly selected 582 teachers as study participants. Descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were employed to analyze collected data. The major results of this research are as follows: 1.The status quo of the integration of educational resources in elementary schools of Taichung City was shown at high ranking by the study instrument, “the use of educational resources” is the highest, “obtain educational resources” is the lowest. 2.The status quo of the school effectiveness in elementary schools of Taichung City was shown at high ranking by the study instrument, “student performance” is the highest, “school administrative operations” is the lowest. 3.The status quo of the integration of educational resources in elementary schools of Taichung City were various outcomes among teachers’ age, years-of-teaching and posts. 4.The status quo of the school effectiveness in elementary schools of Taichung City were various outcomes among teachers’ age, years-of-teaching and posts. 5.“The integration of educational resources” and “the school effectiveness” has significant relevance, among them, “distribution of educational resources” and “school administrative operations” were the highest degree of correlation. 6.“The school effectiveness” can be effectively predicted through “the integration of educational resources”, among them, “distribution of educational resources” is most predicable. Finally, some suggestions for educational administration systems, elementary schools, and future researches were proposed according to the results of this study.
