Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 電機工程學系 === 102 === This research is about designing a smart diet and sports system which contains diet information and exercise programs. The system will give diet and sports recommendations based on user’s diet and exercise records. This system automatically loads user's data (age, sex, favorite food, exercise, etc.), then the Diet System and Sports System will provide appropriate recommendations. Diet System can analysis and recommend food combinations to a user and count the nutrients of the food whether exceed the standard intake amount. In the user interface, the system also notify the user if the nutrients are insufficient and guide the user to take appropriate food avoiding the excess or the lack of nutrients which may cause health issues. Sports System can analysis the diet records and recommend appropriate running distances, then the running records will be saved to the smartphone using SQLite database. This system is designed for mobile devices as APP, and based on graphical interface. The signal will be converted to text data, graphics, images which can be read effectively. Users can use various smartphones with wireless network or 3G network to operate the system and to understand their daily intake of calories, fat, protein and other nutrients then alerts the user if there is any excess or lack of nutrients which can be references for users. This system is designed to consider people's diet and exercise habits, the system integrates and uses Google Map to recommend exercises and records the results as well. Users can understand the needs of diet and exercise from the daily records then learn to choose their own food and to improve their exercise habits; In the future, this database can also be expanded to be used to control the patient's diet.
