碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士在職專班 === 102 === There is an increasing worldwide demand for travel and tourism related services in modern societies, and alongside, more emphasis on the professional tourist guide training. Traditional tourist guide training focused on the memorization of static tourism information which is often impractical in the actual working environment, leading to situations that students were unable to deal with perplexing real life situation even though they already obtained their tourist guide license. This paper described a tour guide authoring system that incorporated street-view functionality within Google Map as the foundation for travel and tourism e-learning platform, to help students gaining more situational knowledge for tourist sites and enabling them to associate static knowledge to actual situations.
