Summary: | 碩士 === 大仁科技大學 === 文化創意產業研究所 === 102 === According to the latest statistics of Facebook blog point out Facebook users worldwide reached 980 million users until 2014 (about 13.3 million users in Taiwan). There are almost 50% of Facebook users login every day and spent 55 minutes on the interface for active users. Also, every user has more than 130 friends grouping in such a social network. With the popularity of smartphones, allowing Facebook users to go anywhere and taking good care of one another about the latest developments. The Facebook founder “Mark Elliot Zuckerberg” had learned the psychology course and applied in his designed works. To feel, meet and then experience the feeling of happiness through the delivery of Internet messages.
Facebook can show whether or not the working functions are able to achieve the expected effect of delivering happiness. This study explored the function design, intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation of Facebook users as external variables to be studied. To discuss the somatosensory interaction between Facebook and users through questionnaires of user satisfaction based on the constitutive functions of interface. Concerning the intrinsic motivation, Herzber (1959) proposed the intrinsic rewards, incentives, meet to discuss these factors which contribute to a theoretical model to understand the intrinsic behavior of the users that the message of Facebook network will increase the actual use and interactive motives among users. Also the extrinsic motivation, Amabile (1994) proposed substantive rewards, insubstantial rewards discuss these factors which contribute to a theoretical model and help users to understand the external representation that the message of Facebook network will increase the incentive and motivation of users.
The population of this study is Facebook users. To verify and explore whether or not there is any impact and relationship among these factors of function design, intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, social support, the meet of demand, and happiness for Facebook users. To analyze and explore any significant differences of users’ backgrounds to study relevance in attitudes for Facebook users by independent samples T-test and one-way ANOVA. The findings in this study by using the empirical research as follows: (1) the functions design of Facebook interface has a positive relationship on the social support, the meet of demand of users. (2) the intrinsic motivation has a positive relationship on the social support of users. (3) the extrinsic motivation has a positive relationship on the social support, the meet of demand of users. (4) the Facebook users has a positive relationship on the social support, the meet of demand. (5) Finally, some data based on different backgrounds showed that different ages, occupation, time to use Facebook, frequency to use Facebook, education, to feel disconnected with society for not using Facebook, to feel sad for closing Facebook, and monthly income do really have significant differences among functions design, intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, social support, the meet of demand, and happiness.
