Warehousing provided some positive functions, such as regulating supply and demand, reducing operation cost, and optimized logistics systems. Moreover, warehouse management affected the organizational competition, and supply chain performance. In order to improve the efficiency of warehouse management, there’s an increasing number of logistics technology from different researching departments, such as automatic warehousing system, routing planning management, RFID, and etc. Those of technology are not only improved warehousing and logistics process in company, but also increased organizational quality and customer’s satisfaction. Additionally, resent research found that pallets improved the convenience and efficiency in logistics processes, therefore, there is s a huge number of pallets usage in Taiwanese companies. As a result, this paper would like to discuss a pallet rental company in Taiwan. This case study found out the problems happened in current situation and provided a solution on warehousing and operation process planning through RFID. After that, this paper used cost analysis to estimate the benefit of improvement. The results shows that the solution could reduce process period, reduce human resource, decrease operational cost, increase efficiency, and improve the customer’s satisfaction. Furthermore, the case study provided some suggestions to other company that would like to implement the RFID system for their warehouse management.
