And further, using gender as the moderating variables to investigate the moderating effect among recreational diving conscious professional competency, perceived risk and voluntary behavior. Research instruments included questionnaires towards conscious professional competency, perceived risk, and voluntary behavior. The sample with 163 recreational divers was collected who had a diving certificate . According to the need, descriptive statistics, one-way MANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, multiple stepwise regression analysis, and interaction regression analysis were adopted in this study. The findings were concluded as the following: 1.The performance of male and female recreational divers were not significant difference on conscious professional competency, perceived risk and voluntary behavior.2.The correlation of recreational diver’s conscious professional competency and perceived risk was negative; the conscious professional competency and voluntary behavior was positive; the perceived risk and voluntary behavior was negative.3. The factors of conscious professional competency, perceived risk and voluntary behavior showed a positive or negative influence with each other.4. The gender had a moderating effect among recreational diving conscious professional competency, perceived risk and voluntary behavior. Finally, according to the research results, this study proposed some suggestions to recreational diving manager as well as the subsequent researchers.
