Summary: | 碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 102 === The thesis presents the design and implementation of an electric cradle based on resonance characteristics. Unlike ordinary electric cradles, where drive motor is closely combined with bearing, will result in a lot of energy consumption. The proposed design will not apply drive motor, but the ball bearing, with less rotational friction, is employed. The wind power produced by electric fans is used as the driving energy that synchronized with the cradle vibration to achieve maximum output response according to the principle of resonance. In the control circuit, the Arduino UNO acted as the core processor, combining three-axis piezoresistive accelerometer to sense cradle amplitude. Experiments showed that the presented system design indeed implemented the electric cradle. In the future, we may finish the resonant cradles by improving the driving power and methods. We really hope the results of this study can make a contribution to energy conservation and carbon reduction for our society.
