mostly use VB 6 and the object of study focus on small size PLC. In this study we adopt
large-scale Mitsubishi Q series PLC as the research object because it was widely used in
photovoltaic panels plant. Combined with small FX series PLC, serial communication
modules, analog modules, temperature control module and distributed I/O modules as
the research platform, under the open control and communication links (CC-LINK)
network architecture, through the use of human interface and it's dedicated monitoring
software and Visual Basic programming language, we try to design and develop the
graphical monitoring technology of PLC.
Under the system architecture described above, we perform the following research
items: (1) HMI-based graphical monitoring, (2) Q Series PLC's basic communication
command tests (3) a temperature regulation combined with inverter, (4) forward and
reverse control of AC motor , etc., and get the desired functionality and results.
The present results demonstrated that through self-designed VB graphical
monitoring programming, under the PLC's dedicated protocols and open CC-Link
network architecture, a stable PLC series communication and remote control can be
achieved.
