The Applications of Compton Medical Images are heavily relied on physician’s experience and judgment because the images are blur. This research employed Computed Tomography as reference images and combined Gamma Correction and adaptive histogram equalization to enhance Compton Medical Images. This paper presents the algorithm of obtaining optimal Gamma Correction parameters and shows the results of ten enhanced Compton Medical Images from five patients.
