碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 102 === In the information systems development (ISD) context, a project team is expected to seek creative solutions to problems encountered in planning, developing, and executing the project. There is an increased interest in the team cognition research literature on how different types of team cognition influence team performance. This research examines the roles of team cognition for a successful project team. For this study, we collected data for 96 software development teams which were examined using structural equation modeling. The results indicated that specialization had significant impacts on process-based and outcome-based team creativity. Credibility had a significant impact on process-based team creativity, and coordination had a significant impact on outcome-based team creativity. The study provided suggestions for building and supporting teams that could lead to team creativity improvements.
