Description
Summary:碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 企業管理系 === 102 === Hospital staffs require higher working stress and challenge because they are in the face of the upsurge of public knowledge, and escalating demand for service quality. Luthans, Vogelgesang & Lester (2006)claim that the human resources department needs to develop the rebound resilience of employees in the company, and put forward some developmental strategy for staff resilience to face the challenge of the rapid change in modern work. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among resilience, work adjustment and psychological well-being. Taking the employees of a medical center in southern Taiwan as test objects with the stratified convenience proportional sampling method, a structural equation model is used to validate the empirical data with a total of 481 valid respondents. The results showed that: Resilience and work adjustment have a significant positive correlation, work adjustment and psychological well-being have a significant positive correlation, Resilience and psychological well-being have a significant positive correlation. As to geographic variables, gender, position and administratorship have a significant effect on resilience, work adjustment and psychological well-being. Furthermore, gender plays as a moderator in the relationship among resilience, work adjustment and psychological well-being. For management practices, this study would recommend healthcare institutions and hospitals should pay attention to appropriately conduct a health promotion program for their workplaces. Furthermore, a class about “Resilience, stress and emotion management” should be incorporated into regular staff education and training.
