As said by Shuping Fu (2011) “Writing about Miaojin Qiu is like finishing a life ceremony”. The double identity of female and homosexual not only challenge the old values structural intensely but also implied the coming of multicultural. As a female homosexual novel, the linguistic sign of "The Crocodile Note" express the conservative social values as well as the pressures of physical and metaphysical from social system of being homosexual. The writer attempted to research the "crocodile" sign through the Literary subjectivity, gender writing, and semiotics which have never been focused or done before. Through the binary opposition of linguistic sign, this study tries to probe into the author’s original creativity. By different signs of semiotics, to express the research of signify. Through text, "Crocodile''s image", which symbolizes as being gazed in public domain and private area and a narrator "Lesbian", who represents a viewpoint of female homosexual which existence or hidden in the novel. In the pass, the object of these studies are mostly about the interaction of signifier and signify.
