Summary: | 碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 102 === Human resource recruitment and selection play an important role in organizations. This study aims to assess the status of human resource recruitment and selection at Danang Hi-tech Park Management Board, Vietnam (the DHTPMB), through which the author would like to present some suggestions to improve the efficiency of future recruitment and selection. In order to achieve the above objective, qualitative research method is used. The research’s results show that even though the DHTPMB has implemented some steps of recruitment and selection such as Job description, Person specification, Determining sources of candidates, Advertising, Application sifting, Interview, Tests and assessments, and References, those activities have not yet been professionally executed with lots of shortcomings. Especially, the DHTPMB has not either built up a suitable recruitment and selection process or referred to ideas of recruitment consultancy agencies so as to improve the efficiency of its recruitment and selection.
Based on findings, the study presents some suggestions in order to improve the recruitment and selection activities. The DHTPMB is a government agency with similarity to other government bodies in Vietnam, hence, this research is also useful for recruitment and selection at such agencies.
