Especially after the invention of multi-function smart phones, the needs to access the Internet by smart phones for different ages are growing. However, because of the overuse or inappropriately use of smart phones by teenagers who are supposed to work hard on their schoolwork, some problems have emerged. In order to awaken the masses to face the problems, the researcher made a study of it. The purpose of the study is to investigate the influences of mobile phone use among the junior high school students in Gangshan District. In order to reach the study purpose, the researcher used questionnaires and adopted Stratified Random Sampling Method. The data were analyzed by Descriptive Statistics, Chi-Square Test, T-Test, and One-Way Anova. The research results are listed as below: 1. The percentage that junior high school students unlawfully use mobile phones at school is high. 2. The purposes that junior high school students use mobile phones are seldom for the learning needs at school. 3. The regulations of using mobile phones at school are necessary. 4. Students’ customs of mobile phone use are obviously diverse in different genders and scholastic achievements. 5. The effects of demographical variables on learning, interpersonal interaction, and mental & physical health are obviously large. 6. The influence of mobile phone use on learning, interpersonal interaction, and mental & physical health is huge. 7. We can predict students’ scholastic achievements, interpersonal interaction, and mental & physical health from the functions of mobile phones that students use. Based on the research results, suggestions were offered for educational administrative organization, parents, and future researchers. Jia-Rong Wen 溫嘉榮 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 141 zh-TW
