Thirty students were divided into two groups:the experimental group and the control group with 15 female students in each group. The experimental group conducted 70% of lower extremity muscle strength training for 3 days per week for 10 weeks and the control group just maintained their daily routine. Their physiological parameters of participants were being monitored for 10 weeks. The static and dynamic balance tests included (1) One-leg stance test with eye-open and (2) Equiboard-Sport (Balance Measuring Device) were used to test the static and dynamic balance before, and in the fifth and tenth weeks of the experiment. The Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test and paired samples t-test were used to analyse the data. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the state and dynamic balance indexes before and after experiment in the control group. The state and dynamic balance index of the experiment group had improved significantly in the fifth week, and much more in the tenth week.
