| Summary: | 碩士 === 聖約翰科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 102 === The purpose of the study was mainly about helping patients to manage their healthy medication with setting a controlled platform of hardware, the designed environment of software and the research of technical controlling. In this study we focus on solving the medication problems of elderly by reviewing the medication products on the market. We found out the regular design of pill-box can solve the problem that patient will forget to take the medicine or repeatedly taking medicine. However if the patient taking the wrong medicine or the medication monitoring cannot easily solved by the design. View of the above problems, in this study will construct a timing medication supervised system to achieve a monitoring health management of patients.
Thus in the study designed a new reminding system which can avoid medication period of patients will not take the other periods’ medicine. We also had individual interview with our subjects about the interface of the current design. We found out this system does prevent the medication error problems. Except previous dispense prescription and medication reminder functions. If the patients did not take medicine on time, the medication system will phone the assigned mobile phone. This system can provide the pre-separation of placing medicine and medication reminders functions. In addition the patient-concerning function will be added into the taking-medicine-on-time monitoring mechanism which means those who have the special relations with patients such as the family members of the patient, health care workers, nursing or medical staff etc. will receive the automated dialing phone from our system which helps them paying attention to the medicine-taking situations of patients for reducing the medication error or the non-taking medicine situations of elders.
