This increase in international travel is putting more and more people at risk of travel‐related illnesses. Therefore, the travel medicine is one of the key issues in the practice and academic fields. The main contents of this study are as follows: (1) constructing the survey questionnaire of the prior knowledge, attitude and behavior about travel medicine; (2) the survey was administered to those people in the travel exhibition, and there were 757 valid samples obtained; (3) the survey data is analyzed using the SPSS software, and descriptive statistics, T test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson’s Correlation, and regression analysis are performed accordingly. The research findings are as follows: (1) respondents with different background variables reveal significant variation on prior knowledge toward travel medicine; (2) respondents with different background variables exhibit significant difference on travel attitude and behavior; (3) there exists significant correlation among prior knowledge, attitude and behavior about travel medicine; (4) the prior knowledge about travel medicine has positive impact on travel attitude and behavior. Last, practical suggestions are made based on empirical findings.
