This study contributes to providing management in charge with relevant reference regarding human resource management, engaging colleagues, and becoming a reference point for psychological counseling. The purposes of this study are to: (1) Understand the public employees working at Household Registration Offices about their emotional labor, organizational commitment and job satisfaction; (2) Understand the variation in emotional labor, organizational commitment and job satisfaction of public employees with different background variables; (3) Analysis the correlation between emotional labor, organizational commitment and job satisfaction; and (4) Analysis the causal relationship among emotional labor, organizational commitment and job satisfaction. This study used the method of questionnaire survey, with a total of 479 questionnaires distributed, and a valid sample of 257 obtained. The empirical results are as follows: (1) The valuation of public servants in the dimensions of emotional labor, organizational commitment and job satisfaction are all higher than the median value of 3, and highest score was job satisfaction. (2) There exist significant differences in emotional labor among public servants working at Household Registration Offices with various experiences in service, rank of position and service locations; there exist significant differences in organizational commitment among public servants working at Household Registration Offices with various experiences in service and service locations; there exist significant differences in job satisfaction among public servants working at Household Registration Offices with various rank of position and service locations. (3) There exist significant correlation among emotional labor, organizational commitment and job satisfaction of public employees working at Household Registration Offices Household. (4) The emotional labor has a significant impact on organizational commitment and job satisfaction, and organizational commitment exerts significant impact on job satisfaction as well.
