In our model, “counselor-client relationships” works as a major independent variable and “clients’ trust” on counselors as a mediating variable. Together they are modeled to affect the dependent variable, “soldiers’ satisfaction” on their counselors’ job performance. Our questionnaire with three scales mentioned above was sent to 2,485 soldiers with 1456 valid returns between December 20, 2013 and March 31, 2014. Our findings show that counselor-client relationships have great impacts on soldiers’ satisfaction. However, clients’ trust on counselors works as a important mediator. Our data show that once clients’ trust is considered, it replaces counselor-client relationships to become a more important factor. This implies that clients’ trust on counselors need to be established first in order to make counselor-client relationships positive impact on job performance. Key words: counselor-client relationships, military counselors, client trust, mental-health work satisfaction 郭盛哲 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 149 zh-TW
