Summary: | 碩士 === 東吳大學 === 人權碩士學位學程 === 102 === The study of this thesis adopted the strategic management theory and based this theory on our human right organization research. Amnesty International, Taiwan Section will be taken for example. The purpose of this research is divided into four areas:
1.To understand how strategic management is applied in human right organization
2.To evaluate how serious the member of human right organization view their mission and goal.
3.To discuss how human right organization take care some issues arising from both external and internal.
4.To analyze how human right organization assess their performances.
Qualitative research methods will be used in this study, and based on strategic management research method to target 7 respondents to participate each case studying together with observing the secondary information has been collected.
The result shown:
1. Due to changing of management regularly, policy cannot be led to long-term implementation or finalized. This has impacted on long term development.
2. Vision is not clearly made to all members that cease the growth the management administration to recruit more young professionals and gain the organization's cohesion and identity.
3. Missing the advantaging to recognize their own strengths and the fierce opportunities ahead neither missing the know-how to improve their weaknesses and recognize the existing threats.
4. On formulating policy, organization mission and goal are not coherent to management implementation; the majority policies and local issue still follow federation strategy, or measured by one’s opinion. This cannot achieve organization’s mission and goal.
5. Ignore the importation the performance assessment and the gap between federation assessment measurement and Taiwan association measurement are very different in organization scope. So that Taiwan association should find its own measurement.
With this in mind, some practical suggestions are made to address these issues above in this study.
