Description
Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 國際經營與貿易學系 === 102 === Since economic and open-market reforms in 1978, China, a country with over a billion people has witness an unprecedented economic expansion. The rapid infrastructural developments and the appreciation of the Renminbi (RMB) have driven Chinese personal wealth to be one of the fastest growing in the world. This makes China one of the most valuable markets with highest potential for private banking. Beyond the evaluation of the current status and future development of private banking in China, this study addresses an in-depth analysis of the role and potential importance of “non-financial services” performed in the private banking sector; an area of study which has been less addressed previously. The purpose of this report is to open a new cross strait dialogue regarding the different dimension of private banking. The inclusion of theoretical academic reports, up-to-date international credible sources, and one-on-one interviews with senior industry leaders will help solidify a new pragmatic understanding on future developments of the private banking sector.
