Summary: | 碩士 === 東吳大學 === 中國文學系 === 102 === Executing the imperial examinations of the Ming dynasty establishes a system of selecting talent via Zhì-yì(制義), at the same time, rises status of Jin-shi(進士), enhances the effect of local school, and reduces the qualifications of exam that create a fair play environment for the purpose of personnel reserve.
It is believed that people can obtain more equal chances to improve personal quality of life, even family’s life through imperial examinations. Therefore the imperial examinations attract Shi-ren(士人)to take part in. They concentrate efforts on Zhì-yì(制義)essay, and develop a view on the imperial examinations as the first goal of values.
Under the circumstances, Ming early education is affected. Hence, whether tutors or Shi-ren(士人)take different considerations.In order to pass on study experiences in train some seeded players effectively, tutors teach them at earlier age, and raise the proportion of Zhì-yì(制義)in class that make the boundary of formative education and classical texts very vague. In other words, people start to study classical texts from childhood, rather than just gradually advanced education.
Although tutors implement teach manner strategically, the results of the learners aren’t positive. Learners’ experiences and thoughts always determine the consequences so it may let them away from original direction. Besides, due to the increasing intense competition, learning time has been unlimitedly extended that causes learners severely suffered, in physical and mind, from deciding whether to adhere or abandon. Moreover, Zhì-yì(制義)makes greater impact on learners in all aspects, so that even though they fail, they are still in the field of it.
The text, based on Ming children’s learning environment and experiences, consists of five aspects, such as textual analysis, author research, readership study, communication research, and outcome research which builds Zhì-yì(制義)system with communication view. And it reveals that Ming children aim to solely prepare the imperial examinations are subject to a numbers of pushing hand.
