This is a quantitative research study. Questionnaire samples were conducted using the purposive sampling method. Questionnaires were answered through interviews with people and returned emails obtaining 304 cases in total. The questionnaire included handicapped basic living conditions data, quality of life, post-polio syndrome and so on. The post-polio syndrome questionnaire included questions concerning spinal lesions, muscle pain, neuropathy and the quality of life issues including physiological aspects, psychological aspects, social relationship and environmental aspects. The impact of the situation in all areas of post-polio syndrome survey respondents showed the following. The lowest was a 14.5% incidence of eating and swallowing problems. The highest incidence of it is the frequently fatigue feeling, 91.4% incidence of malaise, decreased muscle endurance and muscle aging problem rate of 91.1%, 85.2% incidence of scoliosis. From 60.5% to 72.2% incidence of other symptoms is among respondents. The result of my survey research indicates that educational status, marital status and obstacles on the level of quality of life showed a significant difference. Age, educational status, marital status and obstacles on the level of quality of life showed a significant difference. Also, age and obstacles level on the polio syndrome showed significant differences. In order to understand post-polio syndrome affecting the quality of life, I conduct the method of regression testing in terms of four demographic variables:spinal lesions, muscle pain, neuropathy. Finally, according to the findings presented, offer substantial recommendations concerning related knowledge about post-polio syndrome advocacy. San-Yi Li 李三益 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 86 zh-TW
