Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 社會工作與兒童少年福利學系 === 102 === Due to the wave of the deinstitutionalization movement and the advancement of globalization and medicine technology, the services and policies established for mentally disordered people have become more diversified. The employment issues of mentally disordered people will gradually catch the attention in the domains of community rehabilitation. This research explores the possibilities in the job market for mentally disordered people when they receive supports from the professional services of community rehabilitation agencies, their family, friends, professional staff, and even their employers or supervisors. Therefore, the research focuses on the employment of mentally disordered people who have been employed for at least one year, in selected mental rehabilitation agencies opened for more than one year, in Taichung and Miaoli areas, as the objects for this survey. The researcher designed questionnaires and conducted a collective survey with the help of staff in each agency. In total, there were 21 mental rehabilitation agencies participating for samplings, and 739 questionnaires were collected. After receiving the questionnaires, the data were analyzed with internal consistency reliability test, frequency percentage, Chi-square test, and T-test, for analysis and discovered the following findings: 1.The characteristics of mentally disordered people do have influences on their entering the job market. 2.The professional services of mental rehabilitation agencies have a lot of influences on entering the job market for mentally disordered people. 3.The social support has no influences on entering the job market for mentally disordered people. 4.The characteristics of mentally disordered people can partially affect the professional services of mental rehabilitation agencies and social support. 5.The characteristics of mentally disordered people with work experience have some influences on stable employment. 6.The professional services of mental rehabilitation agencies have some influences on the mentally disordered people with work experience. 7.The social support has no influences on the mentally disordered people with work experience. 8.The characteristics of mentally disordered people with work experience may partially affect the professional services of mental rehabilitation agencies and social support. Recommendations: 1.Employment of mentally disordered people needs to be promoted. 2.Mediators are needed between employers and mentally disordered people. 3.Improve measures of employment. 4.Suggestions for advancement in employment services for mentally disordered people by rehabilitation agencies.
