Summary:碩士 === 亞東技術學院 === 運籌管理研究所 === 102 === Facing an issue of aging, chronic disease is for the time being, a major reason that causes outpatient and death of the elderly in Taiwan. In order to satisfy various needs of older adults with chronic disease and to further enhance their quality of life, the study adopted questionnaire survey and conducted random interview with age group over 65 with chronic disease to acquire related information. Conduct analysis on the 46 valid questionnaires collected in return (11 males and 35 females) and according to analysis, occupation, age and place of residence and living habit will affect inner demand of older adults, in which care, accompany and chat are listed as top 3 demand. Moreover, place of residence, gender, marriage, education level and medication status, number of medication and obedience of doctor’s advice will affect their satisfaction; currently, the most satisfactory items are medical treatment, psychology and daily schedule, while the most dissatisfactory items are level of satisfaction on home care and level of satisfaction on social service. Hereto, showing care to elder people moderately by family members is recommended by the study in terms of home care aspect, they should accompany older adults when they are free, to allow elderly people embrace warmth of family so as to satisfy inner demand and further enhance level of satisfaction on home care. As far as social service is concerned, understanding of elderly people’s primary path to information is necessary, to use proper method to allow them to receive information more conveniently, and enhance level of satisfaction on social service after it is properly used.
