This paper initiates from the four aspects of positive discipline: positive supporting atmosphere, reasonable measures of discipline, steady emotional management, and complimentary supporting system. The data for research are collected via teaching diary, observation diary, reviewing notes, liaison books, learning slips, etc., which are written down sequentially to record the procedures of positive discipline. Among which, the observation record and feedback slips are applied to show the performance of implementation. The purpose of the study is: 1.To understand the physical strategy and measures to implement positive discipline. 2.To study the relationships between positive discipline and elevating students’ behavioral performance. 3. To discuss the dilemma and issues of applying positive discipline. The results show that: 1.Teachers should withhold the attitude of respecting students, undertake appropriate strategy of discipline with respect to students’ family background, and personnel characteristics, and keep a good contact with schools’ administrative units, subjective teachers, and parents to improve students’ inappropriate behavior. 2.While positive discipline helps to correct students’ inappropriate behavior and cultivate decent behavior, it takes time and patience; however, its effects can last long and widely, and shows highly effective to improve students’ behavioral change. 3.The challenges of positive discipline come from the degree of coordination from students and parents, and the discipline techniques, attitude, and emotional control of teachers. The purpose of the study is:
1.To understand the physical strategy and measures to implement positive discipline.
2.To study the relationships between positive discipline and elevating students’ behavioral performance.
3. To discuss the dilemma and issues of applying positive discipline.
The results show that:
1.Teachers should withhold the attitude of respecting students, undertake appropriate strategy of discipline with respect to students’ family background, and personnel characteristics, and keep a good contact with schools’ administrative units, subjective teachers, and parents to improve students’ inappropriate behavior.
2.While positive discipline helps to correct students’ inappropriate behavior and cultivate decent behavior, it takes time and patience; however, its effects can last long and widely, and shows highly effective to improve students’ behavioral change.
