Summary:碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 機械與機電工程研究所 === 102 === The purpose of this study is to optimize the five-bar mechanism driven by noncircular gears, whose coupling point can meet the designed curve path. The choice of pivot position is considered to find the smoothest noncircular gear pitch curve. Two types of path driven by the mechanism are designed in the study. The first type is applied to generate a straight line and the second type is applied to generate a Lemniscate, respectively. The pivot positions are set firstly to design the links lengths and making the links to meet the design curve. The angular position and velocity are investigated and applied to design the noncircular gears. In this research, the effect of the pivot position to the design of noncircular gear pitch curves is also studied. These mechanical components and assemblies were set by Solid-Works firstly, and then COSMOS-Motion was applied to simulate and check.
