Summary: | 碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 102 === With the widespread usages and applications in Queue Management System (QMS), it’s used at service facilities which include hospitals, post offices and banks, that purpose to improve queuing situation for patients or customers. However, the common problem of Medical Service (MS) was the waiting time that was getting longer in hospital outpatient department, thus the quality of service and the satisfaction of patient were declined. The main purpose of this research is to design an Embedded Outpatient System (EOS) which includes Medical History Server (MHS), Calling and Report Device (CRD) and Data Process System (DPS).
In Medical History Server, the equipment recorded and analyzed the situation of the physician''s treatment. And, will estimate the service time of physician for next patient through mathematical models of Queuing Theory (QT). Besides, an application of iOS is designed in the study. The patients could arrived the hospital on the expected time on the smart phone and realize the instant clinics number of each clinic dynamically.
In Calling and Report System, these devices are using a microcontroller of NUC family and peripheral circuits, which provide report procedure for patients and display the current appointment number in the waiting room outside. Moreover, the device transferred the current appointment number to Data Process System through wireless module which is low cost.
In Data Process System, the core platform of the system is using ARM Cortex A8 Series Samsung S5PV210 processor and the Android operating system with high portability and stability. The Android Application Framework layer is utilized to develop the user interface program which provides convenient operation of human-computer interaction.
Finally, an experimental evaluation shows might help to improve the delivery of medical information and to provide the most efficient health care services.
