Summary: | 碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 光電與材料科技研究所在職專班 === 102 === Rechargeable batteries are commonly used in ubiquitous portable products. As the power source of devices, the quality of rechargeable batteries will also influence the performance of the devices, so a simple understanding of battery life can help to prevent unexpected damage to devices. This study designed a power generation module that uses a HT46RU232 Microcontroller to control the Thermoelectric Generator TEG127-1.4-1.6, and an LCD to display the battery charging quantity, in order to know if the battery conforms to the product specifications and service life. It also combines the advantages of multiple patents; it is integrated into a device with multi-functions, including waste heat recovery, battery recharging, battery life check, LED service life extension, etc. From the experimental results, the design of the study can shorten the charging time by about 30% compared to general chargers on the market, monitor battery life, assist in LED heat dissipation to prolong the service life, while also serving as a lighting device, thus achieving the goals of environmental protection and energy conservation.
