Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所在職專班 === 102 === Many domestic SMEs have begun to move overseas in order to find a better investment environment and living space. However, still have some SMEs choose to remain in Taiwan by improving product quality, reducing costs and shortening delivery in order to face global low-cost competition. Therefore, these companies have implemented many new improvement technologies and management approaches, such as Total Quality Management (TQM), Toyota Production System (TPS), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), to strengthen their companies’ physical constitution and enhance their competitiveness. In this study, a bicycle components factory is taken as an example to investigate how to successfully integrate TQM, TPS, and TPM production improvement activities. By using “contract research organization” approach, companies can learn from each other to create growth opportunity and to find a way of sustainable development.
