Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 102 === A building suffers along-wind load, across-wind load and torsional wind load simultaneously. However, their maximum values usually do not occur at the same time. In this study, wind load spectra and cross spectra are computed based on the wind pressures on building surfaces from wind tunnel tests and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analyses. Scalar wind load effects are combined by Complete Quadratic Combination (CQC) method and AIJ(2004) method. The correlations among along-wind, cross-wind and torsional responses are considered. The respective correlation coefficient depends on the normalized wind spectra/cross spectra, the fundamental natural frequency and damping ratio. It is especially sensitive to the wind spectra. Finally, the results of AIJ (2004) method and those by CQC method are compared.
