Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 102 === Nowadays the green building has been increasingly importance attached people's attention in architectural designed; among the lighting of considered the natural lighting is most influential factor. Therefore, the architectural design was used a lot of windows to interior lighting and enhancing indoor comfort. But most crowded cities have construct skyscrapers in developing countries, which let the traditional window lighting to affect limited. The day lighting illumination system called Natural Light Illumination System (NLIS). This system can be used to guide the natural light indoors for illumination. In this paper, we present a novel design of the light-emitting sub-system of NLIS, based on freeform micro-structure, to guide the light to a confined space such as an underground basement. The sub-system we design combines the natural light and LED as the input, performs similar function as a regular window, namely a self-illuminating window. This innovative design steadily provides indoor illumination of 62 % uniformity and 75% efficiency.
