Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 財務金融研究所 === 102 === Gaming business has become a trend in the development of countries in the world in general , currently there are 140 countries to promote the gaming industry , a total of about 3,140 casinos , the more national progress , the more advanced the development of the gaming industry ; while the Asia-Pacific region will be the future of the global gaming entertainment center development, is expected to surpass the U.S. as the world's largest gaming industry area. 2007 U.S. subprime mortgage crisis erupted , causing the global financial crisis and economic recession , consumers reduced demand for leisure activities , resulting in a substantial reduction in the gaming industry revenue , casino operations are subject to no small impact . In this study, 2010, 2011 and 2012 between Singapore and Macau gaming and entertainment of 14 listed companies performance evaluation using MOPS relevant financial information as input and output variables through data envelopment analysis (Data Envelopment Analysis, DEA) explore the gaming industry 's operational efficiency in order to understand the gaming entertainment industry has become a benchmark for companies can , and explain what the difference between the company's performance , and thus the direction of non- listed items to benchmark companies should strive for and internal improvement , as Taiwan's future development with reference to the development of the gaming industry 's operations.
