Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 建築系 === 102 === In nature, creatures or nature forms all have their own unique purpose. It can be a stable statement and a low energy-consuming combination in order to makes itself and the environment becomes stabilized. In additionally, the statements represent the abilities of creatures about adapting to new environments orcompeting for climate changes. The gray spaces in urban sites, just like the creatures can’t adapt themselves to environments and be eliminated, are the fields that they have been abandoned and forgotten by citizens. Therefore, this research started to rethink the nature of design and to learn from the Mother Nature. In a compensative and low position, this design is trying to consider the problems of the edge of urban space and improve the quality of space. The ultimate goal is learning the patterns from life cycles in biological worlds, so the gray space in urban sites can have opportunities to create a sustainable and self-developing pattern for integrating with urban and nature space. The methods used to practice in this design are: Plan:1.sustainabilty, keeping the old interior walls. 2. Flexibility, connecting all empty housing space.3.Remodeling, adding new designs. 4.Responsibility, integrating with new and old relationships. Facade:1.Using double facades to creating multi-layer edges. 2.By the application of texture, to introduces the relationships of different timing. 3. The visual changes of a time-based building skin.
