In the process of evolution, how to select the best suppliers to bring in more benefits has become an important issue for a company.
This study applies the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to the supplier selection problem in the plywood building-material trading industry. Based on questionnaire surveys, this study develops a supplier selection model. The criteria used in the evaluation include quality, delivery date, price and payment terms, and service. Results of this study may serve as a reference for companies facing the supplier selection decision.
