The fire safety industry has always been the weakest industry in our country. Everyone ordinarily is stingy about investing in it and avoids doing so at all costs. After a fire happens, both sides blame one another, putting everyone at fault. The fire brigade can only act belatedly to rescue the site. The dispatch of ladder trucks and water-dumping helicopters in vain wastes public funds. Ordinarily, they are a waste of manpower to maintain, but in an emergency they may not come in handy. That which truly must shoulder the heavy responsibility of fire safety and prevention for the whole country in the future is the fire safety equipment installed at each site. We maintain the fire department only to use it at a single moment. Of late, providing complete knowledge and establishing a complete structure on fire protection is the mission of the fire safety industry.
The whole structure of the fire engineering industry and the state of the economy share a close relationship with one another. Recently, the fire engineering industry has criticized the performance management of the nuclear engineering industry as mostly lacking objective evidence. Most investigators give an assessment of performance according to the profitability of each engineering case and are not yet able to react fairly to the performance management of engineering. Had the firm not established a reasonable system to evaluate performance management, then that would cause a lack of morale for workers of the construction site and other such influences. Nonetheless, regardless of whether a fair performance assessment system is set up will have unsatisfactory results for the system, through each kind of data analysis and supplementing management theories on objectively evaluating employee performance from the scholarly world, we can reduce conflict between employees and the management levels of the company. At the same time that employees approve of the manner of assessment, we can also promote the overall performance of the group and cohesion between employees. This research attempts to discuss performance management assessments for fire engineering from the main factors influencing fire engineering performance. This research project selected a total of 20 cases complete in information that were suitable for this research project’s variable data to serve as research targets. Statistics from 2008 to 2011 serve as the sample for our research observations.
This research utilizes data envelopment analysis (DEA) to conduct research evaluations. We apply this method to set up a decision-making unit in order to invest and produce data by conducting an evaluation analysis. Employing the methods of CCR (Charnes, Cooper, and Rhodes) and BCC (Banker, Charnes, and Cooper), we try to obtain relative efficiency for the management of fire engineering.
The results of this research project underwent data analysis, examined allocation of site workers, and calculated the final costs for the construction site to match each other with the time allocated for a construction site, creating excellent performance management. In addition, this data can serve as the basis for premium site performance.
