Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 戲劇學系 === 102 === Short of professional art teachers has been a problem ever since primary and secondary schools’ arts and humanities curriculum was put in action. This situation is worst especially to schools in remote districts. In order to solve the shortage of professional art teachers, Ministry of Education in Taiwan proposed Arts and Humanities Cultivation Project in 2008.
Dong-Kuang Primary School is an educational priority school of Keelung City, which has the problem of lacking professional performing arts teachers. For the implementation of arts and humanity curriculum, the school took creative drama curriculum as a subject to apply for arts and humanities cultivation project budget in 2010, and had positive effects. However, Arts and Humanities Cultivation Plan was revised, thus the school has applied it by using the way of strategy alliance in 2011, so as to conduct creative drama curriculum teaching continuously.
The purpose of this study is to explore the conducting results of creative drama curriculum teaching for arts and humanities cultivation project of Keelung City, Dong-Kuang Primary School during 100 and 101 school years. The research methods used to analysis are document analysis, questionnaire survey and students interviews.
Conclusions of this study are summarized as following:
1. The formation background of Dong-Kuang Primary School’s curriculum
of creative drama suit for the school’s needs of arts teaching and learning.
2. Dong-Kuang Primary School’s content of the curriculum of creative drama teaching is completed and continuative. It is good for future development of performing art curriculum.
3. Dong-Kuang Primary School’s curriculum of creative drama in the sphere of executive, teacher’s profession and student’s learning achievement has obvious positive results especially in the student’s learning.
4. The conducting results of creative drama curriculum teaching of Dong-Kuang
Primary School has significant meaning to arts and humanities cultivation project.
Based on the conclusions above , this research proposes concrete suggestions for Dong-Kuang Primary School’s creative drama curriculum teaching in the future: firstly, developing a mode for the school’s performing concert so as to reduce the time for rehearsals or making new plays; secondary, using the way of sharing and discussing to improve co-teaching teachers’ abilities, and also encourage them to use creative drama in other courses; finally, instructing students to give feedbacks after every performing concert.
For extend studies, researcher proposes relevant suggestions to students’ changes, teachers’ developments, Arts and Humanities Plan’s implementation, and the shortage of performing art teachers.
