In this study, the "Immorality Trials" will be elaborated from the perspective of semiotics. This study attempts to analyze author’s distinguished portrayal of the characters with an emphasis on their symbolic meaning, regarding semiotics. Semiology in terms of Roland Barthes constitutes the theoretical framework of my study. I will apply his analytical method of signs to my text to reveal the narrative structure. Moreover, I manage to explore the social problems and the absurd judiciary system that the author highlights in the text. The problematic involving humanity along with the significance the symbols convey will be treated altogether to shed more light on the thematic matter of “Immortal Trials”.
