My works dealt with psychological issues and contradiction, initiating from the passing of the past and the spiritual loss, and intended to solve the problem of personal connection with the outside world. This thesis took the “bystander” as the main role, and the study and analysis were conducted by the exterior experiences of the bystander to his spiritual integration. In addition, by changing and extending the role of the bystander, I hoped to explore the direction of my future works. Furthermore, I also hoped to analyze the experiences of creating works and my life. The study started with memories and analyzed personal psychological facets in order to explore the melancholic temperament. With the self-examination and critical thinking stimulated, the questions of personal existence, spiritual emptiness and ruin, and everlasting reincarnation of existing and passing were raised, and further extended to the issues of social environment and mental facets of contemporary human beings. In the creation, I attempted to create the spiritual objects of awakening, and to construct active facets and value through it. In the context, the related theories in terms of aesthetics and philosophy were applied to support the idea of my creative works. Last but not the least, the artistic development and trend and the works of other artists were also discussed, in hope of not only clarifying the development and direction of my works within art history, but also seeking any issues that could be extended, possibilities and the direction for the future creation.
